FAQ
How do I book an appointment?
Please reach out to each artist individually to book appointments. Each artist’s booking preferences can be found in their bios on their portfolio page of our website.
Where is the shop located?
Heartsick Tattoo is located on the second floor of the Luna complex at 505 Cerrillos Rd. unit A204. in Santa Fe, NM. We are above the restaurant Radish & Rye at the top of the front staircase next to Salon Pura Vida. There is a large parking lot in the back of the complex and a ramp and an elevator for wheelchair access. Please note as of 3/2/23 our elevator is currently out of service, there is one flight of stairs to access the shop. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working with our landlord on a solution
Is there a shop minimum?
Our shop minimum is $100.
How are tattoos priced?
There is no standardized price for tattoos, so pricing is very much up to the individual artists and will depend on the size and complexity of the tattoo. All of the artists charge $150/hour, and we are all willing to work with specific budgets for custom work.
What is the deposit policy?
All of the artists take a deposit to book appointments. The deposit amount varies depending on which artist you are working with so be sure to ask! Deposits hold your appointment so if you communicate scheduling an appointment with your artist it is not confirmed until they receive the deposit from you. Deposits also go towards the final cost of the tattoo.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your appointment please be sure to give your artist at least 24 hours of notice so they can try to rebook the appointment for someone else. Last minute and same day cancellations really impact us financially and losing out on income is not sustainable for us as self-employed artists. Deposits are forfeited in the case of 24 hours or less notice and a new deposit will be required to book an appointment. Clients who no call no show their appointment will no longer be booked. The only exceptions to this policy are in the case of COVID exposure or if you’ve tested positive and need to reschedule. Please communicate with your artist and do your best to keep them in the loop so we can all be safe!
What are your COVID protocols?
Due to the small size of our shop we are asking our clients to come alone to their appointments if at all possible. If this is uncomfortable for you or presents an accessibility issue we can accommodate one extra support person on a case by case basis. Our shop is in a complex with a food hall, coffee shop, and cider taproom if your support person would prefer to wait in one of those settings while you finish your appointment. All three artists are triple vaccinated and wear medical grade face masks while tattooing. You will also wear a surgical or KN95 mask while you are being tattooed- if you don’t have a mask we will provide one at no charge.
